

Sony kicked things off by making the 2016 Ratchet & Clank re-imagining free for a limited time, which it followed up by making a whopping nine PS4 games free to claim and download. Fast forward to 2021, and the world is still grappling with the pandemic, so Sony has brought the PlayStation Play at Home program back. Designed to keep people in their homes and playing video games instead of venturing out and potentially spreading the virus, the Play at Home initiative gives PlayStation gamers free games with no strings attached. When the COVID-19 pandemic first started last year, Sony responded by unveiling the PlayStation Play at Home program. Nine of the free PlayStation Play at Home free video games for PS4 and PS5 are set to be removed from the program later tonight.
